Karen Marmolejo was born in Mexico and migrated with her family to the United States at the age of 10.

 

She has a Bachelors of Science in General Biology from UC San Diego and a Masters of Science in Quality Assurance in Service and Healthcare from California State Dominguez Hills.

 

She has been a professional in the pharma/medical device industries for over 10 years. She is passionate about community building and advocate of work-life balance.

 

After years of seeking, practicing and experiencing different healing methods she wanted to create a place where she could share all she has learned at an affordable price.

 

She obtained her 200hr Yoga certification in November 2022 and established  Alux Healing Center in April 2023.​

In 2024, she trained as a birth doula. Becoming a birth doula has been a profound journey of love, compassion, and empowerment. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, she is thrilled to support and uplift women from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel understood, cared for, and empowered throughout their birthing experience. Her mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive space where women can embrace their strength and celebrate the beauty of childbirth.
